This is a tribute to the original inspiration for many of today's beloved dark fiction, including "Batman", "Green Hornet", and "V for Vendetta". "The Shadow" originated in pulp fiction magazines and a radio show, and has appeared in every major form of media since. [link]
This picture is based off of the movie poster for the 1994 movie with Alec Baldwin, but I added the Shadow's iconic red scarf and switched to color scheme back to red and black, the predominant colors of the character.
The tagline "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows." comes from the intros to the early 1900's radio shows.

Overall Vision Originality Technique Impactreally nice. can i use it in my magazine Magazine? We are running an article about a really cool Shadow. i would love it if i could use it in my layout, it would make it perfect. i'm having trouble finding any cool graphics of the shadow, and yours is perfect. the car is even red which makes it even better. i was looking at the rest of your work and it also is very striking. you are a very talented artist. i went to the school of visual arts in NY for graphic design. i don't draw or paint much anymore, i'm more into layout and design.
